At 13th HCC, in its 20th anniversary the HCS honoured its founder Professor Evangelos Livieratos (Thessaloniki), President of ICA Commission, for his academic and scientific contribution in the Greek and International Cartography and Dr George Tolias (Athens), Director of Research at HNRF for his scientific contribution in the Greek and International Historical Cartography

At 11th HCC, in its 15th anniversary the HCS honoured Dr Jean-Philippe Grelot (Paris), frm. Secretary General of ICA, for his valuable contribution for the HCS membership in ICA, 1995
Ioannina 2008
At 10th HCC honoured: Professor Ferjan Ormeling (Utrecht), frm. Secretary General of ICA, for his support and encouragement of HCS and his active participation in the HCCs, Professor Carlo Monti (Milan), frm. President of the Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography, for his support and encouragement of HCS and his active participation in the HCCs and Dipl. Eng. Yiannis Alavanos (Athens), frm. President of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the first Rural & Surveying Engineer ever, and for his contribution in supporting the HCS activities
Thessaloniki 1998
At the 5th HCC honoured: the Hellenic Military Geographic Service with its Commander Lt Gen. Dimitrios Georgantas and the Hellenic Navy Hydrographic Service with its Commander Rr Adm. Alexander Maratos, for the national contribution of these old state mapping agencies in the history of the country, Professor Emer. Georgios Veis (Athens), for his academic and scientific contribution in Greek Cartography and Professor Michael Wood (Aberdeen), frm. President of ICA, for the support and encouregement of HCS and his active participation in the HCCs
